My use is to mark up construction drawings and both programs work well. I never did a feature by feature comparison but I don't recall any features I need in XoDo that are missing but available in Drawboard. As a user I feel like I'm being squeezed so I pretty much stick with XoDo now. As another post noted, purchasing Drawboard then being asked to pay a subscription for more features is a really poor business model. I really don't like the subscription model for software.ĭrawboard nor XoDo allow you to edit text in a pdf.
REDDIT DRAWBOARD PDF SOFTWARE
I find Adobe's software overpriced and the fact that it is far behind other much less expensive software in using touch screen and pen makes it less useful on touch screen PCs. They can also write me secret notes! If you're working on a project you can share your work with others and it makes editing the document a universal experince since One Note excels at that. I do this with my character sheet and my GM.
REDDIT DRAWBOARD PDF PDF
Oh and once you have the PDF in One Note you can then share the One Note book. My text book took a bit and the One Note file was huge so I ended up printing chapter ranges that I needed. With a 50mb PDF it takes about a minute to import to One Note on my surface book but the One Note file is 555 mb. For roleplaying I have the PHB as one file I can search and then I have specific class stuff one one tab. You could just print the chapter you need or make each chapter it's own tab in One Note. It does make a large notebook file and by default it will make it one large print out that is searchable. You can print page ranges or the whole PDF. Yes if you use edge there is an option to print to One Note 2106.
